A compact, well-equipped studio in the heart of Pererenan

The R Apartments Studio sits along Jl. Pantai Pererenan, the tree-lined street that runs through one of Pererenan's most walkable and character-rich stretches. At 28 square metres, the studio has been laid out to use every surface purposefully — storage is built in, the kitchen runs fully equipped, and the outdoor seating area opens directly onto the garden, making the space feel larger than its footprint suggests. The architecture is clean and low-fuss: white render, timber accents, and consistent finishes that read as calm rather than bare.

The R Villas Bali

Pererenan itself sits just north of Canggu, but moves at a noticeably slower pace. The streets are wide enough to breathe, the warungs and cafes are still mostly local, and the black-sand beach is a short walk from the apartment gate. It is a neighbourhood for people who want access to the surf and the restaurant scene without being at the centre of it.

The studio comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests and is managed by Elevate Villas Bali, a host team known for attentive, contactless check-in and clear communication throughout a stay. The kitchen is stocked with a stove, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, water kettle, fridge, and freezer — a genuine setup for cooking in rather than just reheating. Air conditioning, hot water, linens, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all provided. A safe box and closet with drawers handle the practical side of longer stays.

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00. The private entrance means arrivals and departures happen on your own schedule without passing through shared lobbies. Paid parking is available off premises. Pets are not permitted at this property.

How a day unfolds at The R

You arrive through the private entrance in the late afternoon, key in hand, and the studio is already cooled and ready. The garden is catching the last flat light of the day and the outdoor seating is exactly where you want to be. You set down your bags, fill the kettle, and spend the first hour doing nothing in particular.

Mornings start at the coffee maker. The kitchen has everything for a proper breakfast — the toaster, the blender for fruit from the market, the stove for eggs. You eat outside at the garden table before the heat builds. Pererenan beach is a short walk down the road, and the surf is at its most manageable before nine. If you are not surfing, the cafes along the main strip are open early and draw a low-key crowd of locals and long-stay visitors.

Afternoons belong to the pool. The water is cool, the garden provides some shade by mid-afternoon, and the studio is right there when the sun gets too direct. The air conditioning makes the return inside genuinely pleasant. There is enough room in the studio to work — the setup is laptop-friendly with reliable WiFi — and the safe box handles anything you would rather not carry to the beach.

By evening, Pererenan's small restaurant strip comes alive without ever getting loud. You can walk to dinner and be back within the hour, or stay in and use the wine glasses for something from the local market. The neighbourhood quiets early and the studio follows suit — no noise, no crowds, just the ceiling fan and the sound of the garden.
