You arrive through the private entrance in the late afternoon, key in hand, and the studio is already cooled and ready. The garden is catching the last flat light of the day and the outdoor seating is exactly where you want to be. You set down your bags, fill the kettle, and spend the first hour doing nothing in particular.
Mornings start at the coffee maker. The kitchen has everything for a proper breakfast — the toaster, the blender for fruit from the market, the stove for eggs. You eat outside at the garden table before the heat builds. Pererenan beach is a short walk down the road, and the surf is at its most manageable before nine. If you are not surfing, the cafes along the main strip are open early and draw a low-key crowd of locals and long-stay visitors.
Afternoons belong to the pool. The water is cool, the garden provides some shade by mid-afternoon, and the studio is right there when the sun gets too direct. The air conditioning makes the return inside genuinely pleasant. There is enough room in the studio to work — the setup is laptop-friendly with reliable WiFi — and the safe box handles anything you would rather not carry to the beach.
By evening, Pererenan's small restaurant strip comes alive without ever getting loud. You can walk to dinner and be back within the hour, or stay in and use the wine glasses for something from the local market. The neighbourhood quiets early and the studio follows suit — no noise, no crowds, just the ceiling fan and the sound of the garden.
