240 Square Metres of Considered Calm

The R Villa Patuha sits along Jl. Sempol in Pererenan, one of Bali's quietly evolving creative enclaves, where local rice farmers and international designers share the same narrow roads. The villa spans 240m² across a single compound and is oriented to capture unobstructed views over active terraced rice fields — the kind you watch change colour from pale gold to deep green depending on the season and the light.

The R Villas Bali

The architecture keeps its lines clean and its materials honest. Dark timber, smooth render, and large glass apertures are used throughout, allowing the surrounding landscape to read as the primary decoration. The interior layout is deliberately open: the living and dining areas flow without hard division into the covered outdoor terrace and pool deck, so the boundary between inside and outside dissolves naturally. A private pool anchors the outdoor space, surrounded by a poured concrete deck and framed directly by the paddy views.

The villa accommodates up to 8 guests across well-proportioned bedrooms, each fitted with room-darkening shades, air conditioning, and quality linens. The kitchen is stocked with everything required for serious home cooking — a stove, oven-ready cookware, blender, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and a full refrigerator and freezer. Wine glasses sit ready on the shelf. The dining table seats the whole group comfortably, and a work desk makes the villa equally suited to guests who need to stay connected.

Elevate Villas Bali manages the property with a focus on cleanliness and clear guest communication. Enhanced cleaning protocols are in place between each stay. Check-in begins from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Free parking is available on premises. Please note that pets are not permitted, and the house rules — including no smoking, no parties, and no furniture rearrangement — are in place to protect the space for every guest who follows.

A Day That Moves at the Rhythm of the Fields

You arrive in the late afternoon when the light across the rice paddies has turned amber and the air temperature in Pererenan has finally softened. The villa gate opens onto a compound that is quiet in the way that suggests intention rather than emptiness. You drop your bags, feel the cool of the tile underfoot, and stand at the open edge of the living area where the pool and the fields meet your eyeline at once.

Morning here has a particular quality. You wake without an alarm, the room darkening shades holding the light at bay until you are ready. Coffee is made in the kitchen — the machine is already on the counter — and you carry it outside to the deck before anyone else is up. The paddy workers are already moving in the distance. The pool is glassy and undisturbed. You sit in that stillness for longer than planned.

By mid-morning the group gathers. Someone takes the blender out for breakfast. Others claim the pool. The outdoor deck absorbs everyone without crowding. In the afternoon, Pererenan itself is a short drive away — gallery openings, organic cafes, and surf access at the beach are all close, but the villa rarely feels insufficient on its own. The kitchen sees real use: pots out, the dining table set, wine glasses filled.

As evening arrives the pool lights come on, the surrounding paddy dims to silhouette, and the group settles into the covered terrace. The WiFi is reliable. The TV is there if you want it. But most evenings, the conversation and the view are enough.

Why Pererenan Is Where Bali Actually Lives

Pererenan sits just north of Canggu without the noise. Working rice fields border design studios and low-key warungs. This is what draws guests back — a neighbourhood still operating on its own terms.
